On August 19th, 2014 the US ambassador to Bangladesh, Mr. Dan W Mozena, visited NATco’s newest production facility, NATco Global Packaging Dhaka LTD., located in the Adamjee EPZ – Narayngonj (Bangladesh).

At the plant the ambassador was welcomed by Mr. Armen Arslanian, representing NATco’s board of Directors, and Mr. Al-Mamun M Rashel, Country Manager at NATco Bangladesh. Being this a 100% American investment, the ambassador’s visit came as a support of the American entrepreneurship and investment in the country. Ambassador Mozena also highlighted and praised the contribution that NATco is doing to the Bangladeshi economy by creating new jobs and business opportunities in the country.

After the ribbon cutting ceremony, the ambassador toured the brand new manufacturing plant and showed interest and enthusiasm to familiarize him with the operations.

At the premises, Ambassador Mozena was briefed on NATco’s investment plans for the near future, where it is expected to employ over 400 Bangladeshi workers by mid-2016.

This fully compliant state-of-the-art production facility will support NATco’s expansion in Bangladesh in order to satisfy the increasing production demand of American and European brands and retailers in the country.
